The First Motion Picture

I recently listened to a lecture by @ricklevineastrologer where he said that watching the sky was the first motion picture. 📽 I found that so beautiful and true. For centuries, people gazed upwards in wonder and tracked the motion of celestial bodies, with the most obvious being the lunar cycle.

As astrologers, we are reliant these days on computerised charts which can reveal a wealth of insight at the touch of a button. Whilst I am so grateful for that technology (particularly as math is not my strong suit 🙈) nothing can replace going outside and actually watching the planets in the sky, imagining the connection between those of us incarnated now and all the generations who came before and once stood where we now stand.
